Céline Cousteau and a member of Groundwork Opportunities visit the Uganda Rural Community Support Foundation (URCSF) facilities in the Rakai District, November 2009. Céline traveled with GO to visit the poverty stricken area in an effort to gain a better understanding and raise awareness for URCSF and the hundreds of families involved with the program. The result is a short documentary depicting the struggles, efforts, and victories of URCSF. URCSF was founded in 2005 by Mr. Peter Francis Luswata as a support system for people to learn self-sustaining farming techniques, gain autonomy, and develop self-confidence amongst the community With projects such as fruit-tree grafting, water harvesting, piggery, and chicken breeding, URCSF advises local farmers on how to better develop their land and market their products.
